Making a Seed Bank at the Library

While we are waiting for spring, here is an interesting article in NPR. A library in Colorado is loaning seed packets. In return, the borrower will collect seeds from the best of  his/her crop and donate them to the library to loan to another person.  It is fascinating that in one generation of planting, those seeds will have the traits that could resist pests, droughts, etc. of that location.
