Our garden at the Community Day Center provides affordable and healthy food for our guests, brings nature into our backyard, and provides purposeful activities for our volunteers and guests. The Community Day Center of Waltham, a not-for-profit organization, is the only day shelter in the Boston Metro-west area. We provide a warm and welcoming place for the homeless and those who may feel alone and isolated. By building a trusting relationship with our guests and providing them with access to services, they move beyond crisis and move toward self-sufficiency.
